Autopsy Number 1112 found clothing made this work with various types of found clothing, donated from family members, woven together with thin cotton warp on a rigid heddle loom. The clothing that I received from family had holes in them, worn through by years of use. I used them to create something new, the paint of the work layered on top, represents new memories piled on top despite the damage that has been done underneath and that cannot be reversed.
Each layer sandwiches together like a rock formation as they effect one another by being bound together by thin yarns. The work has a sense of chaotic tension in it. On the upper-half, various types of paint have been applied randomly or in shapes. Two scribble head figures, sit on the very top of the piece, one gazes into the endless destroyed material while the other lays face down within the painted material.
