I had never done tapestry weaving before and the idea of being able to illustrate abstract ideas within yarn really interested me. I was inspired by the body and my recent visit home to visit a family member that possibly was going to die. He didn't, thankfully. The processes I'm about to show you, allowed me to emotionally work though my grief that was never grieved and the complexities that came with it. Including, how strange it is to grieve someone that didn't die.
